The University of Alberta Grant Assist Program (Health Sciences) [formerly the CIHR Special Project] supports applicants to CIHR through the delivery of feedback processes, bridge funding, workshops, resources, editing and general support. The Project is jointly supported by the Office of the Vice-President Research, the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic, the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Alberta Innovates-Health Solutions, and the Women & Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI). Support is designed to enhance the preparedness of applicants and quality of applications being submitted to CIHR.
The project has been delivering support to the entire University community since June 2011.
